why i like winter!

     i like winter because it always reminds me of christmas. when it starts to become winter and i go outside it always smells like burning wood and fresh air.winter is also fun because every day i know its that much closer to christmas (which is my favorite holiday). i also like winter because sometimes we go to my grandma's house in Pittsburgh and play in the snow.

     another reason i like winter is because its nice to have a break from the blistering hot Florida heat. one of my favorite things to do in winter is to ride my bike around in the cold wind. it also gives us an opportunity to do things like ice skating, which we can't do in any other season besides winter. even autumn here is 85°. last year it was early september before it got cold at all.

     i also like winter because in winter most of the trees turn orange, red, and yellow. the reason i say "most" trees turn colors is because the giant pine trees are evergreens, that means they will always be green no matter what season it is. a few years ago we were flying on an airplane in winter and we saw all he red and orange trees from high in the sky, it was beautiful. and these are just a few reasons why i think
