Lord Of The Flies movie reflection, march 6, 2013

After reading the book, our literature group watched the lord of the flies movie. It seemed mediocre compared to the book as many movies do. There were some very boring parts of the book like whole sequences of just walking and no dialogue. Although I can't blame them for the quality of special effects as it was 1969. The movie did stay to the book very well and did not add any non-book scenes. Overall I liked the movie and would gladly watch it again if the opportunity presented itself.
